For its leadership in optometry and providing exceptional care to its patients, Edmonds Vision Center has been named the 2022 Best Practices Winner by soft contact lens manufacturer CooperVision.

Edmonds Vision Center was among 10 winners chosen as this year’s best practice class after a nationwide search that began last fall. Winners were first announced in March and are featured on the program’s website at coopervision.com/practitioner/best-practices.

Edmonds Vision Center the firm’s owners are Art Wong, OD and Kathy Solum, OD.

“Our team takes a holistic approach to patient care, which begins with learning about a patient’s eye care history and health,” Wong said. “By becoming familiar with all aspects of a patient’s medical care, our team can better respond to and understand each of our patients’ individualized needs.”

All US optometry practices currently wearing contact lenses were eligible. Winners were selected by a panel of judges comprised of past best practice winners and experts from the optometry industry. The assessment was based on their efforts in five key categories: industry advancement, community impact, patient experience, specialty services and team building.
