HealTree will host a Vision Board Workshop on January 29

HealTree will host Let’s Grow: A Vision Board Workshop led by Dr. Alexis McKenzie from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, January 29, at 1632 Savannah Road, Unit 9, Lewes,

Creating a vision board brings strong intentions to its goals. People’s brains respond with an increase in dopamine production. Dopamine works as a motivator and creates a feeling of pleasure when achieving a goal. Each small step taken increases motivation and determination. These repeated actions, carried out consecutively over time, lead to the achievement of objectives.

McKenzie holds a doctorate in metaphysical sciences. A holistic counselor, reiki master and artist, she has been creating and teaching vision board workshops for seven years.

Vision boards are used to help people capture their hopes, dreams, and aspirations. McKenzie encourages the use of photos, words, bulletin boards, and any other special items attendees might want to bring, such as personalized photos or other meaningful items. The cost is $50 per person. All basic supplies are included.

The images used to create vision boards are powerful communication tools for the unconscious mind, which determines 90% of people’s behaviors. Creating a vision board can solidify the alignment between people’s conscious, goal-oriented self and the deeper parts of their consciousness.
